Title: Hero
Author: Perry Moore
Publisher: Hyperion
Pages: Hard cover 432
I bought this book after reading
kennedy_unknown's review in october 2007. I finally read it and would love to promote the book a bit more. Because I can't say it any better myself, I hereby give you the original review. Reposted with kind permission from
kennedy_unknown. (So you know who to thank after reading;)
Summary: Thom Creed is full of secrets, and they're starting to take their toll on him. Not only is he discovering that he is developing superpowers, but he is also hiding the fact that he is gay. He lives alone with his father, both of them already ostracized from society because his father failed to save thousands from a supervillain over a decade earlier. That's right, his father was a superhero and Thom desperately doesn't want to be the two things his dad despises.
